  • Five different cores.
  • The core box for each core needs to be generated and checked for manufacturability.
  • Metal flow analysis to check the hot spots, fix riser location, and calculated the riser size and release gating drawing.
  • Create the layout and the match patttern drawing for manufacturing and assembly of tools.

Drop Arm – Existing and Modified Design Analysis

  • Problem :  To evaluate existing and modified design of steering drop arm for specified loading condition using FEA and life prediction analysis.
  • Solution :  A Finite element mesh and structural analysis was carried out to validate the modified design.
  • Customer Profile :  Tire-I auto component manufacturer.

Scooter Frame – Stress Analysis

  • Problem :  To estimate the scooter frame stress.
  • Solution : A Finite element mesh and structural analysis were carried out. The finite element model was created with many design variables so that many iterations/variation could be applied and analyses were carried out.
  • Customer Profile :  Leading Two-wheeler manufacturer

MUV Floor – Fatigue Life Predication

  • Problem :  To estimate the fatigue life prediction of a MUV floor component.
  • Solution :  A Finite element mesh and structural analysis based on the measured road load cases were carried out. Fatigue life prediction were carried out using stress output.
  • Customer Profile :  Leading MNC Car manufacturer.

Tractor Component– Fatigue Life Predication

  • Problem :  To estimate the fatigue life prediction of a tractor component.
  • Solution :  A Finite element mesh and structural analysis were carried out. Fatigue life prediction were carried out using stress output.
  • Customer Profile :  Leading Tractor manufacturer.

Inlet Manifold – Flow Analysis

  • Problem :  To estimate flow characteristics (pressure, velocity, etc) of existing and modified design of intake manifold of an IC engine using CFD.
  • Solution :  A Finite element mesh and CFD analyses were carried out to validate the original and modified design.
  • Customer Profile :  Overseas auto manufacturer

FE & Fatigue Analysis of the Knuckle of a Passenger Car

  • Problem :  To estimate the stresses and fatigue life cycle of the knuckle.
  • Solution :  F.E. Model with about 175000 3 D tetrahedral elements analyzed for 4 loading bench conditions.
  • Customer Profile :  Tier I Supplier for Automotive Maker.

Twin Tub Washing Maching

Twin tub washing maching was design based on inputs and guidance from the customer. Atlantis design the plastic,sheet-metal and casting components considering the DFMA in interaction with industrial desginers and tool desginers.

Having done the interference and clearance checks during the desgin stage itself,the assemble of the prototype was faster than the usual lead time The product was designed in record time of 8 months.
